Meet Otay

Hair has been my passion for as long as I can remember.

I have always believed that when you look good, you feel good, and I wanted to be the person who gives people that feeling. In 2018 I enrolled at the International Academy of Hair and Design and trained in hair, skin care and beauty. In 2022 I founded OTAY Hair, Beauty & Cosmetics to bring everything I love about this work under one name.

Braiding is my specialty. Every appointment is one-on-one, so your hair, your scalp and your comfort get my full attention from the first part to the last cuff.

Services & pricing

Braids first, beauty all the way through. Prices start at the amount shown and depend on length, size and hair density. You get an exact quote at your appointment, and your deposit comes off the total.

  • Bring your hair. Clients supply their own braiding hair or extensions for now.
  • Arrive washed and fully dried. If your hair isn’t, we can wash and blow-dry it for $25 before we start.
  • Kids and men welcome for braiding services.
  • Nail services are coming soon.

Request an appointment

Pick a service, pick a time, pay your deposit. Every request is reviewed personally, and you’ll get an email (and a text, if you like) once it’s approved, usually within a day. If we can’t make the time work, your deposit is refunded in full.

Good to know

A few house rules, so every visit runs smoothly.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM.
Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Closed Sunday and major holidays.

Deposit

A deposit secures your request and is deducted from your total on the day. If we can’t approve your time, it’s refunded in full.

Rescheduling

Need to move your appointment? Text us at least 24 hours ahead. With less notice than that, the deposit is forfeited.

Running late

Text us as soon as you know. We’ll do our best, but a full service isn’t guaranteed if you arrive late.

Before you come

Arrive with clean, fully dried and detangled hair, and bring your braiding hair or extensions. Wash and blow-dry is available for $25 if needed.

Payment

Deposits are paid online through Square when you book. The balance is due at your appointment.

When you book or message us we collect your name, contact details, appointment preferences and anything you choose to tell us about your hair, including an optional photo. We use it only to run your appointment and reply to you. Deposits are processed by Square; we never see or store your full card number. We don’t sell your information.
